4. Subscription Plans and Fees

Salesive operates on a subscription model, with plans typically priced below ₦10,000 monthly unless stated otherwise.
- Fees are billed monthly or annually
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by law
- Salesive may revise pricing with prior notice
4.2 Transaction Fees
Salesive charges a 1.5% transaction fee on customer payments processed through the platform. Fees are deducted automatically per successful transaction and exclude third-party payment processor charges.
5. Payments, Payouts, and Settlements
- Salesive facilitates payments but is not a bank or financial institution
- Funds may be held temporarily to manage risk, disputes, or compliance
- Payout timelines depend on payment providers and risk reviews
- Salesive may suspend payouts in cases of fraud, disputes, or policy violations
6. Referral Program
Our referral program allows you to earn rewards by referring new sellers to Salesive.
- You earn a percentage of the subscription fee (as specified by us) for a set number of subscriptions when a referred seller signs up and purchases a plan.
- Salesive reserves the right to cancel rewards or participation for cheating, fraud, or any other reason at our sole discretion.
7. Seller Responsibilities
- Own or have rights to sell listed products or services
- Accurately describe products, pricing, delivery terms, and refund policies
- Fulfill customer orders promptly and lawfully
- Handle customer support, disputes, and refunds unless otherwise agreed
Salesive is not responsible for disputes between sellers and customers.
8. Prohibited Activities
- Selling illegal, counterfeit, or restricted products
- Engaging in fraud, money laundering, or deceptive practices
- Abusing the platform or attempting to bypass fees
- Uploading malicious code or infringing intellectual property
- Using Salesive for high-risk or regulated activities without approval
- Copying, recording, redistributing, or reselling digital content you bought access to, or getting around the access controls and marks that protect it
Salesive may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
9. Compliance, KYC, and AML
- Salesive may conduct identity verification (KYC)
- We may request business documents and monitor transactions
- Suspicious activity may be reported to regulators
Failure to comply can lead to suspension or termination.
10. Third-Party Services
Salesive integrates third-party payment gateways, logistics providers, and messaging platforms. Salesive is not responsible for third-party failures, terms, or policies, and disclaims liability arising from such services.
11. Intellectual Property
All Salesive trademarks, software, APIs, designs, and content remain the property of Salesive. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform and may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or resell Salesive software or branding without permission.
12. User Content
You retain ownership of content uploaded to Salesive but grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, process, and distribute it as needed to operate the Platform. You are responsible for ensuring content legality.
13. Digital Products
This section applies to digital stores, where sellers offer files such as PDFs and books for download or for online reading, and to the people who buy them.
For sellers:
- You may only upload and sell content you own or have the right to sell, and you are responsible for any claim that it infringes someone else's rights.
- Salesive provides access controls such as sign-in, time-limited access, read-only viewing, download limits, and marks that identify the reader. These controls reduce copying but they are best-effort and are not digital rights management (DRM).
- No technology can fully stop a person who can see content from capturing it, for example by screenshot, screen recording, photograph, or by saving what their device receives. Salesive does not guarantee that your content cannot be copied, saved, shared, or redistributed.
- By selling digital content on Salesive you accept that risk. If your content cannot be sold on that basis, do not sell it through the Platform.
- Salesive is not liable for lost sales or value caused by unauthorised copying or sharing of your content, and does not enforce your copyright for you. You are responsible for any legal action against infringers. On a report from you, Salesive may at its discretion remove or suspend a buyer's access.
For buyers:
- A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to read or use the content for your own use. You do not own the content or its copyright.
- Time-limited access, such as a 30 day rental or pass, is read only. You can read the file in your library until the period ends, you cannot download it, and no refund is due for unused time.
- You may save a book on your own device to read it offline. An offline copy stays tied to your account: it is removed when your access ends or when you sign out, it stops opening if your device has not connected to Salesive for 3 days or its clock is changed, and every page still carries the marks that identify you.
- You must not copy, screenshot, record, photograph, scrape, share, resell, publish, or redistribute content, and you must not use tools to get around access controls, marks, or download limits.
- Content you read may carry a mark that identifies your account. If content is found shared, Salesive and the seller may use that mark to identify the account, end access without refund, and take other action allowed by law.
- Keep your sign-in private. Access is limited to you and may not be shared.
14. Data Protection and Privacy
Salesive processes personal data according to its Privacy Policy. By using Salesive, you consent to data collection, processing, cross-border transfers, and use for service improvement, analytics, and compliance.
15. Salesive Push Notifications
Buyers can turn on Salesive push notifications by visiting push.salesive.com and following the opt-in prompt. Once you enable notifications, they follow you across every Salesive Store where you shop, and individual sellers cannot switch them off. Messages may include order confirmations, fulfillment reminders, delivery progress, product news, or other updates that keep you informed about your interactions with Salesive sellers.
You can manage or stop notifications from your push.salesive.com profile or through the notification settings on your device or browser. Salesive may still send critical alerts, such as urgent order or fraud warnings, when needed to protect buyers and the wider Salesive network.
16. Platform Availability
Salesive strives for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, suspend services for security or compliance reasons, or modify features as needed.
17. Suspension and Termination
Salesive may suspend or terminate accounts for breaches, fraud, illegal activity, or regulatory requirements. You may terminate your account at any time. Outstanding obligations survive termination.
18. Account Deletion
You may request permanent deletion of your Salesive account at any time through the account settings in the Salesive app or dashboard.
- Account deletion is irreversible. Once confirmed, your personal data — including name, email, phone number, and address — will be permanently anonymised and cannot be recovered.
- Deletion removes your ability to log in and access the Platform. Your stores, products, and order history will be retained in anonymised form to satisfy legal, regulatory, and financial obligations.
- Any outstanding payouts, active subscriptions, or pending transactions must be resolved before or after deletion; they will not be automatically cancelled.
- Data retained for compliance purposes (e.g. transaction records, tax documents) will be held for the minimum period required by applicable law and then permanently erased.
- Salesive does not sell your personal data after deletion and will not use anonymised residual records to identify you.
To request account deletion, go to Settings → Personal → Delete Account in the app or dashboard. You may also contact us at support@salesive.com.
19. Disclaimers
Salesive is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or guarantees of sales performance or profitability.
Salesive does not guarantee that digital content cannot be copied, captured, or redistributed. Its access controls and marks are not digital rights management, and a buyer who can view content may be able to capture it.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Salesive is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to fees paid by you in the previous three months.
Salesive is also not liable for loss arising from unauthorised copying, capture, or sharing of digital content, however it occurs.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Salesive harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Platform, the products you sell, legal violations, or intellectual property infringement.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
23. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be addressed through good-faith negotiation, followed by mediation or arbitration where applicable, and ultimately the courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.
24. Changes to Terms
Salesive may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
