Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Salesive collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data across our platform, website, and mobile application.
Last Updated: 14 October 2026
Introduction
Salesive Force LTD ("Salesive", "we", "us", "our") operates the Salesive platform, including our website at salesive.com, the web dashboard at app.salesive.com, and the Salesive mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play (collectively, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy describes what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights over that data. By using the Platform you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal data, depending on how you use the Platform:
Contact Information
- Name — provided at registration, used to identify your account.
- Email address — used for login, OTP authentication, and communications.
- Phone number — collected at registration for account verification and communications.
Location
- Coarse location (country, state/region, city) — collected during account setup to enable localisation, shipping, and regional compliance. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates.
Photos and Media
- Profile avatar and product images — uploaded by you and stored on our servers to display your profile and product listings.
Messages
- In-app and social messages — the content of messages exchanged between your store and your customers, including any images or files attached, whether sent through the in-app chat or through a connected Instagram, WhatsApp, or Telegram account. This content is stored on our servers to deliver conversations and enable customer support, and is encrypted in transit. It is not sold or shared with third parties except the AI processing described below.
- AI-assisted replies — where you enable Salesive's AI assistant ("Ola") to draft or send replies, the relevant message content is sent to a third-party AI language model provider to generate a response. We select AI providers on terms that do not permit them to use your message content to train their models, and message content is processed only to generate the reply, not retained by the provider beyond that.
Voice Calls
- Call audio (staff calls) — when you or your staff place or answer a voice call from a store chat, we access your device microphone to carry the call. Calls are browser-to-browser using encrypted WebRTC; the audio streams directly between the participants and, where a direct connection isn't possible, through a relay that cannot access its contents. Salesive does not record, store, or listen to these calls, and no audio reaches our servers. Voice calls are made in-app and do not use or reveal your phone number.
- Call audio (AI-answered WhatsApp calls) — if a customer calls your connected WhatsApp Business number and no staff member is available to pick up, an optional automated voice assistant can answer on your behalf. In that case the call audio is processed in real time by a third-party speech-to-text and text-to-speech provider so the assistant can hold the conversation. This audio is used only to power that call and is not stored or used for training by us or the provider.
- Call records — we log that a call took place as an entry in the conversation, including the participants, time, duration, and outcome (answered, missed, or declined). This record contains no audio.
Identifiers
- User ID — a unique identifier assigned to your account, used to link data across services and sessions.
- Device ID / push token — your device's push notification token and basic device information (model, OS version) collected when you enable push notifications in the mobile app.
Usage and Diagnostics
- Product interaction data — actions you take on the Platform (pages visited, features used, button clicks), collected via PostHog analytics.
- Crash data — error reports and stack traces generated when the app encounters a problem, collected via Sentry.
- Performance data — app performance metrics (load times, response times) collected via Sentry to improve stability.
Business Information
- Store details, product listings, order history, and billing profile.
2. Mobile App Data
The Salesive mobile app uses native device features. Here is how each is handled:
Biometric Authentication (Face ID / Fingerprint)
The app offers optional biometric authentication (Face ID on iOS, fingerprint on Android) as a quick sign-in method. Biometric data is processed entirely by your device's operating system and secure enclave. Salesive never receives, stores, or transmits your biometric data.
Push Notifications
When you grant permission for push notifications, we collect your device push token and basic device information (model, OS version). This is used solely to deliver order alerts, business updates, and service notices. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device Settings → Notifications → Salesive.
Camera and Photo Library
Camera and photo library access is requested only when you choose to upload a profile photo or product image. Images are stored on our servers to display your content on the Platform.
Microphone (Voice Calls)
Microphone access is requested only when you start or answer a voice call. Call audio is streamed in real time to the other participant over an encrypted, browser-to-browser connection and access to the microphone stops when the call ends. Salesive never records or stores your call audio.
Authentication Tokens
Your session token is stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore via Expo SecureStore). It is never stored in plain text or shared with third parties.
Location
The app does not request or collect your GPS or precise device location at any time. The country/region you enter during registration is collected through a form, not from your device's location services.
3. How We Use Information
Salesive uses collected data for the following purposes:
App Functionality
- Authenticating your identity and maintaining your session.
- Operating your store dashboard, products, orders, and customer data.
- Connecting voice calls between your store and your customers, and logging call records (time, duration, outcome) in the conversation.
- Generating AI-assisted replies to customer messages (in-app, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram) and, where enabled, answering WhatsApp calls automatically when no staff member is available.
- Delivering push notifications for orders and business activity.
- Enabling optional biometric login.
- Diagnosing and fixing crashes and performance issues (Sentry).
Analytics
- Understanding how features are used to improve the Platform (PostHog).
- Measuring audience size and feature adoption.
- Monitoring error rates and performance trends (Sentry).
Communications
- Sending OTP codes for email-based login.
- Delivering service updates, account alerts, and support responses.
Legal and Compliance
- Verifying merchant identity (KYC).
- Meeting anti-money laundering (AML) and regulatory obligations.
- Preventing fraud and system abuse.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Platform under our Terms.
- Legal obligation — compliance with tax, AML, KYC, and financial regulations.
- Legitimate interests — analytics, security monitoring, fraud prevention, and product improvement, balanced against your privacy rights.
- Consent — push notifications and optional analytics where required by law. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Data Sharing
Salesive does not sell personal data. We share data only with the following categories of recipients:
Third-Party Service Providers
- PostHog — product analytics (receives User ID, name, email, phone, avatar URL, interaction events).
- Sentry — crash and performance monitoring (receives error data including User ID and email under default PII settings).
- Apple — Apple Sign-In authentication and iOS push notification delivery (APNs).
- Google — Google Sign-In authentication and Android push notification delivery (FCM). Google Tag Manager is used on our web dashboard for analytics tag management.
- Expo / EAS — push notification infrastructure for the mobile app.
- OpenRouter — AI model routing for the Ola assistant. Message content is sent here to generate AI-assisted replies, on terms that do not permit the underlying model providers to train on your data.
- Deepgram — speech-to-text and text-to-speech processing for WhatsApp calls that are answered by our automated voice assistant.
- Payment processors and banking partners — to facilitate transactions and payouts.
- Logistics and fulfilment providers — to process and track shipments.
- Contabo — our primary hosting and server infrastructure provider.
- Cloudflare — content delivery network, DNS, and network security in front of our services.
AI Assistants and Connected Apps (optional)
If you choose to connect your Salesive account to an AI assistant such as ChatGPT (for example through the Salesive app or plugin for ChatGPT), you authorise that assistant to act on your account through a secure sign-in. The assistant can then read the store data your account can already access, such as products, orders, customers (name, email, phone, and delivery address), wallet activity, and content, and, when you ask it to, make changes like updating an order or drafting a social post. Actions that delete data, cancel orders, or publish to a connected social account require your explicit confirmation first.
- The AI provider (for example OpenAI) receives the information returned to your conversation and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. Salesive does not control that handling.
- Salesive does not receive your conversation history with the assistant. We receive only the requests the assistant makes to your store on your behalf.
- The connection is optional and only works for the account that signed in. You can disconnect Salesive at any time in the assistant's settings, which ends its access, or contact support@salesive.com for help.
Advertising Pixels (website and web dashboard)
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — marketing measurement on our website and web dashboard.
- TikTok Pixel — marketing measurement on our website and the web dashboard at app.salesive.com.
- X (Twitter) Pixel — marketing measurement on our website and web dashboard.
These advertising pixels run on our website and web dashboard and are not active in the native mobile app.
Legal and Regulatory
- Compliance or regulatory authorities when required by law.
- Law enforcement agencies when legally compelled.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, fulfil contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, or resolve disputes.
After account deletion, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (e.g., financial transaction data, which may be retained for up to 7 years for regulatory compliance).
Crash logs and performance data (Sentry) are retained for 90 days. Analytics event data (PostHog) is retained for 12 months.
7. Data Security
Salesive implements industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
- Session tokens stored in device secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore).
- Access controls limiting staff access to personal data.
- Continuous error and anomaly monitoring via Sentry.
No system is completely secure. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password and enable biometric authentication where available.
8. Cross-Border Transfers
Salesive and its service providers operate globally. Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States (analytics, AI processing, and speech processing providers) and France (hosting infrastructure). We apply safeguards consistent with applicable data protection law when transferring data internationally.
9. User Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal data (see Account Deletion below).
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics or push notifications at any time without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@salesive.com. We will respond within 30 days.
10. Account Deletion
You may request full deletion of your Salesive account and associated personal data at any time:
- In-app — go to your Account Settings → Delete Account within the Salesive app or dashboard.
- By email — send a deletion request to support@salesive.com from your registered email address.
Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed or anonymised within 30 days. Certain financial and transaction records may be retained for up to 7 years to satisfy legal and regulatory obligations. Outstanding balances or disputes must be resolved before deletion can be completed.
11. Cookies and Tracking
Website and web dashboard (app.salesive.com): We use cookies and tracking technologies including:
- PostHog — session recording and product analytics.
- Google Tag Manager — manages marketing and analytics tags.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — marketing attribution and audience measurement.

Mobile app: The native Salesive app does not use web cookies. Analytics are collected via PostHog SDK and Sentry SDK only. Advertising pixels (TikTok, X) are not present in the native app.
12. Children's Privacy
The Salesive Platform is intended for use by individuals aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable under local law). If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us at support@salesive.com and we will delete it promptly.
The Salesive mobile app is rated 4+ on the Apple App Store, indicating it contains no objectionable content.
13. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
